Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has insisted that he will have no problem in choosing a replacement for Hulk for his side’s clash with Mexico tonight.

The Zenit St. Petersburg forward, who started for the Selecao in their opening day 3-1 win over Croatia on 12th June, is doubtful to feature against the Mexicans after picking up a leg muscle injury.

"We'll see how things transpire and decide before the match," Scolari told FIFA’s official site.

Hulk was not present in Brazil’s practice session yesterday, and Scolari explained the reason behind the 27-year-old’s absence.

"He wouldn't have run, wouldn't have participated. There was no need for him to come so he stayed behind and had treatment,” he continued.

Scolari, who further added that he could choose Hulk’s replacement with his “eyes closed”, stated that Brazil have a lot of players in their ranks with different traits to the former Porto man.

"I can choose a replacement with my eyes closed – there will be no problem. I have 23 players and I think I've selected them well,” the manager added.

"I have players with different characteristics and different qualities to Hulk who can bolster the team."

Hulk has 33 caps and eight caps for Brazil to his name.
