Alexander Buttner feels that Louis van Gaal has never rated him and is all set undergo a medical today before completing a move to Dynamo Moscow.

Buttner arrived at Manchester United in 2012 for a transfer fee of £4.4m and still has three years left on his contract.

The Dutch left-back has made only 28 appearances in his two seasons at the club and with Van Gaal arriving next month, Buttner has decided to draw the curtains on his Old Trafford career, believing he can safely predict what lies in store under his countryman.

"The coach has never given me a chance to play for Holland, even though I was voted Man of the Match 14 times for Manchester United," the 25-year-old told De Telegraaf.

Buttner is now closing on signing for Russian Premier League side Dynamo Moscow on a three-year deal and believes it is the right move for his career.
