Arsene Wenger has squashed rumours linking AC Milan hitman Mario Balotelli with a move to Arsenal this summer.

Balotelli’s future at AC Milan has been a source of constant speculation, with Arsenal mooted as the Italian’s next destination.

The Gunners are believed to be in the market to sign a top class striker this summer and Balotelli is supposedly their main target.

However, Wenger has come out and has rejected any suggestion that the club are interested in the Italian international.

“It is not true that we are interested in Balotelli,” the Frenchman told BeIN Sports.
