Massimo Cellino's Leeds United are interested in young Italian midfielder Federico Viviani, with the player's agent revealing his client has a number of options in England.

Viviani spent last season on loan at Serie B outfit Latina Calcio from Roma, helping the side put in a strong tilt at promotion to Serie A, which only fell at the final hurdle in the playoffs against Cesena.

The 22-year-old is now waiting to weigh up his future for 2014/15, but a number of sides are spying scooping him up, of which one are English Championship side Leeds.

"Now Federico is resting, but when he returns from holiday we need to decide [his future] together", Giovanni Ferro told LaRoma24.

"Leeds and other English teams have shown interest in him", the agent added.

Cellino is known to be a firm fan of Viviani, having tried to take him to Cagliari during his time as owner of the Rossoblu.

The Italian businessman is expected to take the lead in acquiring players for Leeds this summer, having chosen to adopt a continental management structure, with David Hockaday appointed as head coach.

Cellino is also expected to appoint Cagliari sporting director Nicola Salerno to a role at Elland Road soon.
