Highly-rated Netherlands winger Memphis Depay admits he has read of interest from some of the English Premier League's biggest clubs, but has nothing concrete to report and is focused on the World Cup.

Depay impressed last term with PSV Eindhoven and booked a spot in Louis van Gaal's Netherlands squad as a result, going on to impress in Brazil when handed a chance by the Dutch coach.

Van Gaal is thought to want Depay at Manchester United when he assumes control at Old Trafford, while Tottenham Hotspur and even Premier League champions Manchester City have been linked with the 20-year-old.

And the player certainly knows he is a wanted man.

"Of course I've read that Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are interested", he explained to the Algemeen Dagblad.

"But no more than that.

"I'll see later. My agent Kees Ploegsma is here [in Brazil] too, but we are not talking about that kind of stuff.

"That is for after the World Cup."

And Depay has refused to rule out remaining in the Eredivisie for a further season, especially as he has not yet managed to help PSV win the title.

"I don't rule that out", the winger said.

"I've not become a champion with PSV. The fact is that people now ask me what I'm going to do and I understand that. But now, it's the World Cup."

Depay's contract at the Philips Stadion runs until 2017.
