Liverpool are extremely close to signing Belgium international striker Divock Origi.

The Reds have identified the 19-year-old as one for the future and are moving quickly to push a deal over the line for the striker.

According to French sports daily L'Equipe, Liverpool are perhaps just hours from sealing Origi's signature and will pay the player's club side, Lille, a fee of between €10m and €14m for the privilege.

However, Liverpool will not be able to call upon Origi for the new season.

Indeed, Lille want the striker to remain at the club on loan for the 2014/15 season, something Liverpool have agreed to.

The 19-year-old has represented Belgium at every youth level, from the country's Under-15s, and has long been tipped for the very top.
