Leeds United are on the brink of signing goalkeeper Marco Silvestri and midfielder Tommaso Bianchi.

Sporting director Nicola Salerno, who has left his role at Cagliari and is now working with Leeds owner Massimo Cellino, who previously owned the Rossoblu, has done deals for the pair.

And they are, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, all but complete, with both Silvestri and Bianchi poised to sign on the dotted line with the English Championship side.

Both Italians will arrive at Leeds on permanent deals on a three-year contract.

Silvestri, a former Italy Under-21 international, spent the latter half of last season on loan at Cagliari, allowing both Cellino and Salerno to get a close look at him in the process.
