Everton custodian Tim Howard insists that he is be eager to return to Goodison Park after a nice relaxing break post the World Cup.

Howard's national duties are over after the USA were knocked out of the tournament in Brazil, following a Round of 16 defeat against Belgium.




And now, with over a month remaining for the new season to start, Howard will be looking to enjoy a relaxing break before finally returning to England.

However, the veteran goalkeeper, who managed a total of 37 league appearances for the Toffees last season, keeping 15 clean sheets, also adds that he can't wait to return and meet up with the players at Everton.

“I must be honest I am now looking forward to chilling out and taking a break", Howard told Everton's official site.

"But I am also really looking forward to getting back to Finch Farm and Goodison and seeing all the guys and the staff and the fans again.

"It's been an unbelievable experience and I hope the Everton supporters have shared it with me."

Howard's team begin their 2014/15 league season with a match against newcomers Leicester City on 16th August.
