Barcelona are ready to make an initial offer of €30m for Fiorentina’s Juan Cuadrado.

The Colombian’s performances at the World Cup have increased his value in the transfer market and a number of top European clubs are on his trail.

Manchester United are believed to have signalled their willingness to buy him last week and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the winger.

However, Barcelona are in pole position to sign the 26-year-old and are ready to make an initial offer of €30m to Fiorentina, according to Catalunya-based daily Sport.

Cuadrado’s agent will fly down to Spain this week to discuss a potential transfer for his client to the Blaugrana.

However, Fiorentina are playing hard-ball and are not willing to listen to offers below the €40m mark for the winger.

La Viola signed Cuadrado on a permanent deal from Udinese earlier this summer for €15m.

The Italian club are not ready to budge from their stance and it remains to be seen whether the Catalan giants are willing to reach deep into their pockets to buy Cuadrado.
