Galatasaray president Unal Aysal has revealed the existence of a release clause in Wesley Sneijder's contract, inviting clubs to make a move for the Dutch schemer.

Sneijder has been consistently linked with Manchester United, transfer chatter which has only increased since the appointment of his coach at international level, Louis van Gaal, as the club's new manager.

Galatasaray have now publicly admitted just what amount is needed from any club if they wish to snap up the former Inter playmaker.

"Wesley Sneijder has a release clause set at €20m", Aysal explained at the press conference held to present Cesare Prandelli as the club's new coach.

"Any team that give us that money and he wants to go…we can't keep him", he added.

"Legally speaking, we have no right."

Sneijder is currently at the World Cup as part of Van Gaal's Netherlands squad, preparing for a semi-final clash against Argentina. The Dutch coach will head to Old Trafford following the conclusion of the tournament.

The midfielder added fuel to the fire of talk linking him with Manchester United last month when he said: "I'm happy in Turkey, but if Van Gaal made me an offer I would consider it because no Dutchman can say no to him and not everyone is lucky enough to get into his good books."
