Benfica are lining up a move for Inter goalkeeper Vid Belec if they cannot convince Celtic to sell Fraser Forster.

The Portuguese champions are in the hunt for a new goalkeeper after selling Jan Oblak to Atletico Madrid – and Forster is first on their list.

Benfica are willing to pay Celtic €7.5m for the England international. However, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the Lisbon giants are already making alternative plans in case the Bhoys will not deal.

And the man on their list is Slovenian goalkeeper Belec.

The 24-year-old was snapped up by Inter in 2007 from Maribor and slotted into the club's youth ranks.
