Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has revealed his personal ambition of doing well in Europe next season.

The Scottish champions will take on Czech outfit Dukla Prague today, their last pre-season friendly before their Champions League qualifier next week.

The Irish forward wants to utilise the opportunity to reach peak fitness before their crucial Champions League qualifier.

“It’s a gradual process, but we haven’t much time between now and the qualifiers, and hopefully we will have a good workout tomorrow night”, Stokes told the club’s official site.

“I will really push myself in that game and be ready for the upcoming qualifiers on Tuesday.”
