Pepe Reina says he is leaving his future in the hands of his agent, despite continuing uncertainty surrounding whether he will return to Liverpool for next season or head elsewhere.

The Spaniard spent last term on loan at Italian side Napoli, with Liverpool bringing in Belgian Simon Mignolet as their new number 1.

Napoli have been offered the chance to sign Reina from Liverpool for €3m, but the Azzurri only want to take the custodian on another loan, with Liverpool sharing his salary as was the case last season.

Where Reina might be is up in the air, but it is not something the goalkeeper is concerning himself with. Indeed, he is currently on an extended holiday due to his involvement in the World Cup.

Asked by El Mundo Deportivo if he is currently without a club, he replied: "Of course I have one, Liverpool.

"I have a contract for another two years, though I have not yet spoken with the coach to see what plans he has in mind.

"Now I am finishing my holidays. It is my agent who takes care of these things."

Reina had been linked with heading back to boyhood club Barcelona, but the Catalan giants looked elsewhere, bringing in Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Claudio Bravo as their new goalkeeping options.
