New AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi is keen for the Rossoneri to bring French midfielder Clement Grenier to the club.

Inzaghi has made the 23-year-old one of his priority targets, according to Italian daily Tuttosport, although it remains to be seen if Milan are prepared to meet Lyon's asking price for the player.

The Ligue 1 outfit are open to selling Grenier for the right price and he has been linked with Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen already this summer, while Newcastle tried to sign him in January.

Grenier is happy to remain at the Stade Gerland, but admitted earlier this month he does not know if that will be possible.

"You never know what can happen", he said.
