Arsenal will confirm the signing of right-back Mathieu Debuchy from Newcastle United tomorrow, according to ITV.

The Gunners have had a deal for the France international tied up for some time, but have been forced to wait for Newcastle to replace him before pushing it over the line.

The Magpies have now secured Netherlands right-back Daryl Janmaat from Feyenoord as Debuchy's replacement, removing the final hurdle preventing an Arsenal announcement.

Arsene Wenger's men are expected to pay around the £10m mark to sign Debuchy.

The 28-year-old was quickly identified by Wenger as his preferred replacement for Bacary Sagna, who departed for Manchester City following the expiry of his contract at the Emirates Stadium at the end of last month.
