English Premier League side West Ham are interested in Inter midfielder Saphir Taider.

The Nerazzurri only snapped the Algerian schemer up from Bologna last summer and it remains to be seen if they will be willing to part with the 22-year-old just 12 months later.

However, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, West Ham are firmly on Taider's tail and looking to take him to Upton Park.

Taider made 25 appearances in Serie A for Inter last season, chipping in with one goal and two assists as the Nerazzurri finished fifth in the Italian top flight.

The Hammers, who are eyeing building a squad to play more attractive football in the new campaign, have already made a number of signings this summer.
