AC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi has praised his players, who he believes have been behaving like "true professionals" in pre-season training sessions.

The new campaign will be the former Juventus player's first season in charge of the San Siro-based outfit and Inzaghi is confident that his team will rise to the occasion and perform well to prove their doubters wrong.

The pressure will be intense as the Rossoneri aim to recover from a disappointing 2013/14 season, when they finished eighth in the league, thus failing to qualify for Europe.

However, with the intensity that the players have shown, the manager is confident that they will do well to become successful next season.
