Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has slapped a €40m asking price on Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku.

The powerful hitman, who has spent consecutive seasons away from Stamford Bridge on loan, at West Brom and Everton respectively, is looking to leave Chelsea to secure first team football once again for 2014/15.

He has been linked with a whole host of clubs, including Italian champions Juventus.

And according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, when the Bianconeri contacted Chelsea, Abramovich informed them that Lukaku will not be sold for less than €40m.

Lukaku starred for Belgium at this summer's World Cup and is currently on an extended holiday to recover from his efforts in Brazil.
