Inter have confirmed the appointment of Manchester United chief operating officer Michael Bolingbroke as their new chief executive.
Bolingbroke will assume the role when he stands down from his post with Manchester United in August and Inter president Erick Thohir has been quick to welcome him to the Nerazzurri.
"I am extremely pleased to bring to Inter a leader with the experience, expertise and professionalism of Michael", he told the club's site.
"He has my complete and utter confidence.
"He represents the ideal profile to carry on the vision, which I share with the Moratti family, of Inter as a global brand.

Bolingbroke, 48, previously worked as the senior vice-president of the Cirque du Soleil.
