Atletico Madrid are aiming to replace Filipe Luis by snapping up Liverpool target Alberto Moreno from Sevilla.

The Spanish champions sold Luis to Chelsea yesterday for a fee of €20m and are now aiming to quickly replace the 28-year-old left-back.

It appears Moreno, who has been continually linked with Liverpool throughout the summer, is their preferred choice for the job.

According to Spanish daily AS, Atletico Madrid are preparing an offer of €15m to sign the 22-year-old.

Moreno impressed with Sevilla last term, helping Los Rojiblancos to win the Europa League and in the process earning a spot in Vicente del Bosque's 30-man provisional squad for the World Cup.
