Edinson Cavani will hold talks with his representatives on Tuesday as he tries to extricate himself from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The Uruguay international had been due to meet his agents over the weekend, but the meeting was postponed and, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, will now take place on Tuesday.

The meeting is of huge importance for Cavani, who is hoping to leave PSG and is set to reiterate that stance to his representatives.

The striker has been strongly linked with Manchester United, a solution which it is thought would meet with his approval, but no offer for his services has been made by the Red Devils.

Cavani grew frustrated at PSG last season after he was forced to play second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The hitman, who cost PSG €64.5m to sign from Napoli last summer, demanded talks with the French champions at the end of the season.

However, it appears the answers given by the capital club have not satisfied Cavani, who is now looking to move on from the Parc des Princes, if a suitable destination can be found.

Despite being played out of position by PSG, Cavani still hit the back of the net 25 times in all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants last season.
