West Ham are continuing talks with Inter to snap up Algerian midfielder Saphir Taider.

Sam Allardyce is keen on taking the 22-year-old to Upton Park as he looks to inject further creativity into his side's midfield.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, talks between Inter and West Ham are at an advanced stage.

The deal on the table would be likely to see Taider join West Ham on a season-long loan, with the English club holding the right to make the move a permanent one should he impress.

Taider only joined Inter last summer, switching to the Nerazzurri from fellow Serie A side Bologna.

However, Inter now look ready to allow him to leave the club, though it remains to be seen if West Ham are alone in their admiration of Taider.

Before joining Inter, Taider was linked with Manchester United and Liverpool, having impressed with Bologna.
