Former Paris Saint-Germain striker Kevin Gameiro has snubbed the chance to join West Ham this summer.

Gameiro currently turns out for La Liga side Sevilla, a club he joined from PSG just last summer. The 27-year-old grabbed 15 goals in 35 games in the Spanish top flight last term, settling into his new surroundings instantly.

West Ham were impressed and according to Spanish daily Marca, are willing to pay €15m to sign the Frenchman.

The Hammers have seen their advances fall on deaf ears though, with Gameiro unwilling to quit last season's Europa League winners.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has been set the aim of leading his side to a top ten finish in the Premier League in the new season, along with playing a more attacking brand of football.
