Serie A side Bologna are working on a deal for Leeds United target Mirco Antenucci, but the situation is complex.

Antenucci was prolific last season in Serie B with Ternana, who have been desperate to keep hold of him after activating a purchase option held in their loan agreement with Catania.

English side Leeds have been chasing Antenucci, but their sporting director Nicola Salerno recently revealed that the striker is proving to be too expensive.

Bologna are moving in for the kill, aiming to take the striker to the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.

However, the Rossoblu's attempts have hit a snag as, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Ternana and Catania both co-own Antenucci and are unable to reach an agreement to sell to Bologna.
