Inter are continuing their hunt for a new striker to spearhead their attack in the upcoming campaign and have four names on their list at present.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport, those under consideration at the San Siro are Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca, Manchester United poacher Javier Hernandez, Southampton misfit Pablo Osvaldo and Liverpool forward Fabio Borini.

Bacca only joined Sevilla last year from Belgian giants Club Brugge, and handled the tough task of replacing Alvaro Negredo at the club by scoring 14 times in La Liga.

Hernandez meanwhile has grown frustrated at a lack of regular first team football at Manchester United, but it remains to be seen if new boss Louis van Gaal hands him further opportunities to impress.

Another Inter target, Osvaldo, has been made available by Southampton, following his return from a loan spell with Juventus.

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman explained to the BBC that Osvaldo failed to return on time for pre-season training and as a result the decision to sell him has been made: "He was too late.

"The decision of the board was to allow him not to come back. We have to look for opportunities for him to play in a different team."

Also on Inter's list is Liverpool forward Borini, who is another player available for the right price.

Liverpool have already accepted a bid of £12m plus £2m in bonus payments for Borini from Sunderland, but the Italian has yet to decide whether to move to the Stadium of Light.
