England winger Wilfried Zaha believes that Manchester United is the best place to be in order to improve.

The 21-year-old failed to impress during his first season at Old Trafford, having managed only four appearances for David Moyes' side before being sent on loan to Cardiff City.

However, having had the opportunity to be part of the team's pre-season tour, the winger is determined to take advantage of every chance he might get in order to prove his capabilities to the new manager Louis van Gaal.

"It's great to be back", Zaha told his club's official site.

"There's a nice vibe, everybody's working hard and we're looking forward to the new season."

Zaha further added that the stint with Cardiff City was particularly useful as it helped him gather valuable first-team experience.

"Going to Cardiff was a really good experience for me. I managed to get quite a few games under my belt at Premier League level, which was good, and I feel like I've come back a better player.

"I've realised there are things about my game I need to work on and concentrate on and I know this is the best place to be if I want to improve.

"I really want to make myself a better player."
