Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has quickly stamped on speculation that Mats Hummels and Marco Reus could be leaving the club this summer.

Centre-back Hummels has been mooted as being close to joining Louis van Gaal's Manchester United for €20m, while attacking midfielder Reus has been placed on Liverpool's wanted list, with the Reds flush with Champions League income and £75m from the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona.

But Klopp has tried to end any talk that his prized pair could quit Dortmund in the current transfer window, offering a cast iron assurance that the duo will not leave.

Addressing talk of a deal for Hummels to go to Manchester United, Klopp told the Ruhr Nachrichten: "What was today's rumour? Mats to Man United? For how much? 20 million? For an amount like that, you can forget about it anyway."

And, bringing Reus into the mix, Klopp says he sees no sign his top performers want to abandon ship.

"Marco and Mats will be playing for us next season", the Dortmund coach said.

"I can assure everybody that there is no sign at all that either of them want to leave", Klopp added.

Borussia Dortmund have already lost a key performer this summer, with striker Robert Lewandowski leaving for Bayern Munich.
