Chelsea starlet Gael Kakuta is wanted by Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon.
Kakuta has spent much time away from Chelsea on loan in recent years and split last term between loan stints with Vitesse in Holland and Lazio in Italy.
However, he has struggled to live up to the reputation and billing attached to him when he arrived at Chelsea as a much lauded youngster in 2007.
Now the 23-year-old could be offered the chance to relaunch his career in Portugal, with Sporting Lisbon on his tail, according to French sports daily L'Equipe.
Kakuta is entering the final year of his contract at Chelsea and appears to be surplus to requirements at the Blues.

The Frenchman was criticised by a Chelsea scout for his departure from Vitesse earlier this year and warned about wasting his talent.
"Quite frankly, I do not know why he ended his story with the Dutch club", scout Guy Hillon said.
"It's a huge mess because, I have already said and I will repeat, he was the most talented of this generation. He could be exceptional.
"But talent is not enough. At one point, when you accumulate failures, you must ask the right questions and challenge. Because before Arnhem, there was Bolton, Fulham and Dijon."
