The race for Fiorentina full-back Cristiano Piccini is heating up, with the 21-year-old have attracted attention from four clubs, including Leeds United.

Piccini spent time on loan at Livorno from Fiorentina last season and is now in line for potentially another exit from La Viola.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Chievo Verona have become the latest side to lodge an enquiry for Piccini, following hot on the heels of Cesena, Empoli, Leeds and Spezia.

The Italy Under-21 international clocked up 20 appearances in Serie A for Livorno last season, even managing to provide a single assist in the process.

Piccini was unable to prevent Livorno's relegation from Serie A however, with the club finishing rock bottom in the standings, having conceded a substantial 77 goals.
