Pablo Osvaldo has given the green light to a move to Inter Milan, but the Nerazzurri have still not agreed a deal with Southampton.

Osvaldo joined Juventus from the Saints in January this year on a loan deal until the end of the season and scored three goals in 18 appearances for the Old Lady.

Adding to his previous disciplinary issues, the Italian failed to report to pre-season training on time earlier this month, which has resulted in Southampton deciding to sell him this summer.

Sampdoria have already made initial contact with Southampton regarding a move for the 28-year-old striker but they will face stiff competition from Inter.

The Nerazzurri are looking to sign him on a loan deal with an option to make the move permanent next summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
