Arturo Vidal has revealed he is set for crunch talks with Juventus on Monday, amid continuing speculation over a move to Manchester United.

The Chile international is wanted at Old Trafford by new Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal, who readily admits to having tried to buy him during his time in charge at Bayern Munich.

Now Van Gaal is revisiting his desire, armed with Manchester United's substantial transfer kitty, but it is less than clear whether he will be able to get his man.

Juventus have adopted a firm no-sale stance over Vidal, although the club's director Pavel Nedved did concede yesterday that if the player wants to leave, the Bianconeri will grant him his wish.

And with Vidal back in Turin after the World Cup, the stage is set for make-or-break talks over his future with the Serie A champions, the former Bayer Leverkusen star revealing Monday as the day for a discussion.

"I am fine", he told Sky Italia when confronted upon his arrival back on Italian soil.

"Will I stay at Juve? I am still on holiday. I do not know if I will stay, but I'm fine here.

"Will I go to Manchester? No, no…I have not yet spoken with [Andrea] Agnelli [Juventus chairman, ed.].

"I will talk on Monday with the coach and the club", Vidal concluded.

Further fuel was recently added to the transfer fire recently when it emerged Vidal has put his house in Turin up for sale.
