Tottenham Hotspur new boy Ben Davies has revealed that he "jumped at the chance" to join the London-based club this summer.

The 21-year-old joined Mauricio Pochettino's side on Wednesday from Swansea City, signing a five-year contract with the Lilywhites.




After joining he jetted off to join the club's pre-season tour and celebrated their win against Toronto FC at BMO field.

 


"I’m very happy to be joining a club like Spurs", Davies told his club's official site.

"It was such a good opportunity for me and there was no doubt in my mind about it."

Speaking about course of events which led to his joining the new club, the former Swansea City player added that it was a great opportunity for him and he jumped at the chance of being part of Tottenham.

"It’s a great place to be and something I jumped at the chance of being part of."

Tottenham will play their next pre-season tour match against Chicago Fire on 26th July.
