Real Madrid are prepared to quickly approve the departure of Angel di Maria, if a bid of at least €50m drops in their inbox, according to Spanish radio station Cadena Cope.

Di Maria has been consistently linked with the Bernabeu exit door this summer, with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain his two chief suitors.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti wants to keep hold of a player he rates highly, but the club's big-money acquisition of James Rodriguez from Monaco means player sales are now needed to balance the books.

Di Maria is thought to prefer a move to PSG, who would pay him €8m per year, however the French champions are having trouble financing the deal.

Due to UEFA's financial fair play rules, they have switched to loaning players with a mandatory purchase option, thereby putting their expenditure back a year; Serge Aurier has already arrived on a season-long loan with a mandatory purchase option set at €9.5m.

Whether Real Madrid will be prepared to wait a year to bank a fee for Di Maria is not clear and Manchester United may be favoured buyers in PSG's place.

Los Blancos were mooted to be looking for €60m to sell the winger, but it now appears €50m may do the trick.
