Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is happy to have a selection problem between goalkeepers Petr Cech and Thibaut Courtois.

Cech, now in his 11th season at Stamford Bridge, stood between the posts in the Blues’ 1-1 draw with Austrian side RZ Pellets WAC on Wednesday.

However, the 32-year-old’s starting position may come under serious threat this season with Courtois returning to the club following his super successful loan stint at Atletico Madrid.

And Mourinho, who is aware that one of the two custodians will be upset this term due to a lack of playing time, explained that managers are paid to make tough decisions.

The Portuguese tactician went on to add that the Chelsea fans, whom he considers more important than his charges, will be pleased to have both Cech and Courtois at the club.
