Ferencvaros midfielder Muhamed Besic will complete his move to Everton next week, according to the BBC.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international, who played in all three of his country’s World Cup fixtures in Brazil, has already jetted off to Thailand to link-up with his new team-mates.

The 21-year-old will complete his move when the Toffees return from their pre-season tour of Asia next week.

And Everton boss Roberto Martinez was pleased with the way Ferencvaros handled the negotiations.

"I would like to thank Ferencvaros for the way they have approached the negotiations. They have been very understanding", he was quoted as saying by the BBC.

Besic, who impressed at the World Cup despite his nation’s group stage exit, will become Everton’s second summer signing after Gareth Barry made his move from Manchester City permanent, following a successful loan spell at Goodsison Park last term.

The youngster joined Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros from Stuttgart only last season.
