Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has distanced himself from rumours of him joining Queens Park Rangers and reuniting with his former manager Harry Redknapp this summer.

He has worked under Redknapp at Tottenham, Portsmouth and Southampton and admits that he enjoyed playing under the Englishman.

However, he added that he is happy at Stoke City and feels that the club are moving in the right direction, therefore he is not inclined towards leaving.

"I've worked with Harry four times in all and I've always enjoyed working with him", the former England striker was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"But I am very happy with things here. We finished ninth last season and I had a big part to play in that.

"All I can say is that I am very happy where I am and very happy with where the club is going."

Crouch joined Stoke from Spurs in 2011 and has scored 31 goals in 116 appearances for the club. He has only one year left on his current deal.
