Inter and Manchester United are lining up a swap deal which would see Nerazzurri midfielder Fredy Guarin move to Old Trafford, while striker Javier Hernandez heads in the opposite direction.

Manchester United had been linked with Guarin in the January transfer window, along with Juventus, but the midfielder ended up staying put and penning a new contract with Inter.

However, the Nerazzurri are ready to sacrifice the Colombian as they seek to boost their attacking options.

And so, according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, a swap deal for Hernandez is on the cards.

Hernandez has grown frustrated with life warming the bench at Old Trafford and is thought to be open to a move.
