Russian Premier League champions CSKA Moscow have been in touch with West Ham United over midfielder Ravel Morrison.

The former Manchester United starlet's future is in doubt after West Ham boss Sam Allardyce suggested he is not in his plans for the new season.

However, West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan quickly contradicted Allardyce and suggested Morrison does have a future at Upton Park.

Now CSKA Moscow have asked about Morrison's availability, with an eye on taking him to Russia, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

Morrison is thought to want to remain in England if he does quit West Ham, but CSKA Moscow will offer the player a lucrative package to relocate to the Russian capital.
