Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is delighted with the club's signing of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona and believes the fact the Chile international chose the Gunners ahead of other clubs bodes well for the season to come.
Arsene Wenger's men beat off opposition from both Juventus and Liverpool to land Sanchez from Barcelona, something which has delighted Cazorla.
And the Spaniard knows all about Sanchez, a player who lit up his native country's league with Barcelona on a weekly basis.
"I like the signing", he told Spanish daily Marca.
"He is a top level player who would surely have many offers on the table and the fact that he has opted for Arsenal is a joy for all of us.

"I am convinced that he will bring great things to the team", Cazorla concluded.
Arsenal recently played out a 1-0 defeat against New York Red Bulls in a pre-season friendly in the United States. They will step up their preparations at the Emirates Cup over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd August, where Sanchez may make his debut.
