Inter Milan target Stefan Jovetic has ruled out a move away from Manchester City this summer.

Jovetic joined the Citizens last summer from Fiorentina for a transfer fee of £23m and still has four years left on his current deal with the club.

The Montenegrin’s first season in England was plagued with injuries and he only made 18 appearances for the English champions.

Rumours of a move back to Italy for Jovetic have been doing the rounds this transfer season and Inter have been touted as a possible destination for the former Fiorentina man.

However, the forward has poured cold water on all speculation and said that he is not leaving the club this summer.

"I feel a sense of renewed confidence at the club”, Jovetic was quoted as saying by Sport Mediaset.

“I talked to my family, friends before I decided not to move away from Manchester.”

However, Jovetic will not rule out a possible move back to Italy in the future.

Italy? Maybe one day I'll return, there I felt good.”
