Paris Saint-Germain have rejected an offer from AC Milan for in-demand midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The French playmaker has knocked back two offers from PSG to extend a contract which has just one year left to run, with concerns over the amount of first team football he is receiving in Paris.

Rabiot has consistently insisted sporting factors relating to his development are more important than the increased salary PSG have offered.

The midfielder has interested Arsene Wenger's Arsenal, along with Italian champions Juventus. But it is Milan who have made the first concrete move to secure his services.

According to Sky Italia, earlier today Milan CEO Adriano Galliani made contact with PSG and presented them with an official offer for Rabiot.

However, the Ligue 1 champions' response was swift and Milan's proposal was rejected.

PSG could yet change their stance if Rabiot continues to refuse to pen a new deal however, as the midfielder will be able to plot his exit when his current contract expires next summer.
