Despite repeated denials over Arturo Vidal's availability from Juventus, the Chile star's agent is working overtime to secure his client a lucrative switch to Manchester United.

Vidal is keen to move to Old Trafford to link up with Louis van Gaal, with discussions having already taken place over the contract which will await him; the midfielder is looking for €10m per year, while the Red Devils are at present offering €8m.

However, the former Bayer Leverkusen man is reluctant to openly push for a move and has promised to respect Juventus' stance, something which makes his agent's work all the more vital.

Fernando Felicevich, Vidal's agent, is now in full swing, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, and working overtime to push through an agreement.

Felicevich faces time pressure, with Juventus due to depart for a pre-season tour of Asia which Vidal would rather miss if he is on his way out of the door.

Juventus' first game of their Asian tour comes on 6th August in Indonesia.

From Indonesia, the Bianconeri head to Australia to lock horns with an A-League All-Star side on 10th August, before rounding off their trip in Singapore on 16th August, playing a Singaporean Select XI.

New Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is reluctant to lose Vidal and only earlier today emphasised the importance of the player to his plans, another obstacle for Felicevich to work around.

"Vidal is fundamental for Juventus and not just in practical terms", said Allegri.

"He is very motivated and he is happy to stay."
