Atletico Mineiro have confirmed that former Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldinho has left the club by mutual consent.

The 34-year-old, who helped Atletico Mineiro to win the Recopa Sudamericana last week, joined the club from Flamengo in 2012.

Ronaldinho also guided the club to Campeonato Mineiro and Campeonato Mineiro titles during his two-year spell at the Estadio Independencia.

The Brazilian’s agent and brother Roberto de Assis revealed that Ronaldinho will decide on his next destination tomorrow, but insisted retirement is not on the cards.

"He will play until he's 42! He will reveal his future destination on Wednesday", De Assis told Globo Esporte.
