Premier League crisis club Southampton are chasing Parma winger Jonathan Biabiany.

The Saints have preferred to sell rather than sign players this summer, offloading Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw, Dejan Lovren and Calum Chambers, while Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez have been linked with also heading for the exit door.

In response, new manager Ronald Koeman has drafted in Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic – and now the Dutchman is switching his focus to Serie A for a new addition.

According to Sky Italia, Koeman is keen on the Saints snapping up winger Biabiany.

Southampton have submitted an offer for the Frenchman, but face opposition from another Premier League club in the form of West Brom.

The Baggies are also firm fans of the 26-year-old, who joined Parma initially on loan from Sampdoria in 2011.

A product of Inter's youth system, Biabiany is under contract with Parma until 2018.
