Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has said that his team will hope to exploit the weaker parts of Nemanja Vidic's game as they prepare to play against the Serbian for the first time in a friendly against Inter Milan.

The former Red Devils skipper left Old Trafford at the end of the season after his contract with the club expired.

And as the occasion arrives when Manchester United play against their former skipper during their second International Champions Cup match, Cleverley feels nostalgic, adding that it will be strange to play against Vidic.

"It’ll be strange playing against Nemanja", the 24-year-old told his club's official site.

"He was a great leader for this club and a very good defender with lots of experience, so we have huge respect for him.

"But hopefully we can exploit the weaker parts of his game and get a win on Tuesday."

Louis van Gaal's team have had a great start to their pre-season campaign, scoring a total of 10 goals in two matches.

The match against Inter Milan will therefore be their chance to build on that momentum as they look to fight for silverware during the 2014/15 season.
