Manchester United are waiting to complete a deal for Arturo Vidal before making a decision on Marouane Fellaini’s proposed move to Napoli, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

Earlier this week Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon was reportedly spotted with Fellaini and two agents, leading to speculation that the Belgian is ready to call time on his Old Trafford career after only one season.

The Italian club remain keen on signing the tall midfielder and have already contacted the 20-time English champions over the transfer of the former Everton man, being quoted an asking price of €25m.

However, Manchester United are ready to play a waiting game with Napoli, as they bid to resolve their own incomings first.

The Red Devils are currently working hard on a deal to sign Vidal from Juventus and want to seal his transfer before taking a decision on Fellaini’s future at the club.

Reports emerged yesterday that Vidal has agreed personal terms with the English club, but a fee is still to be agreed with Juventus.

Meanwhile, Napoli are maintaining their interest in the Belgian and want to sign him on a loan deal with an option of making the deal permanent next summer.

Bigon has arrived in England to seal a deal for Fellaini, however the negotiations are expected to be a long drawn out affair as Manchester United are also trying to close out a deal for Vidal.
