Former Manchester United man Nemanja Vidic has revealed that he had a number of offers from different clubs, but he chose to move to Inter Milan as he believes that the club have the potential to become “bigger and bigger”.

Vidic joined Inter from Manchester United earlier this summer on a free transfer and signed a three-year contract with the Serie A club.




The Serbian lined up for Inter against his old team-mates in a pre-season friendly yesterday in Washington, which the Italians lost 5-3 on penalties.

The defender confirmed that he had a number offers from different clubs, including a few from English clubs.
 


“I had a lot of offers from different countries, even from England”, the former Manchester United captain told MUTV.

However, he chose Inter because he believed in their project and feels that the club are moving in the right direction.

“With Inter, the club are in transition, trying to improve but I like the project.

“Inter will get bigger and bigger and I hope I can help them achieve their aims.”

Vidic won five Premier League titles, three League Cups and a Champions League crown, along with numerous other honours in his time at Manchester United.
