Harry Redknapp is set to personally meet Brazilian great Ronaldinho to convince him to join Queens Park Rangers.

The Brazilian terminated his contract with Atletico Mineiro earlier this week and is now a free agent looking for a new club.

At 34, the former Barcelona and AC Milan man is still a big draw for a number of clubs in Europe and QPR are trying to work out a deal to sign him this summer.

Redknapp will personally meet Ronaldinho and try to convince him to sign for the newly-promoted London club, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.

QPR owner Tony Fernandes is believed to be very keen to land the Brazilian superstar and is ready to back his manager’s move for the former AC Milan and Barcelona man.
