Romelu Lukaku is heading to sign a permanent deal with Everton, ending his stay at Chelsea.

The 21-year-old earlier today posted a photograph on his Instagram account with the message "Time to write a new chapter".

And according to multiple reports from the player's native Belgium, that will be with Everton, where he spent last season on loan.

Lukaku will pen a long-term contract at Goodison Park, another boost for the Toffees following Ross Barkley penning a contract extension yesterday.

The striker was concerned about his chances of playing regularly at Chelsea this season, with Didier Drogba, Diego Costa and Fernando Torres all at Stamford Bridge.
