AC Milan will still have representatives at the Emirates Cup this weekend to talk to Arsenal over signing Joel Campbell, despite Gunners boss Arsene Wenger suggesting today that the Costa Rica forward is part of his plans for the upcoming campaign.

Wenger was asked about Campbell, who spent last season on loan at Olympiacos, and replied: "Yes, he is part of my plans. He might play tomorrow against Benfica [in the Emirates Cup]."

That has not put Milan off trying to grab the forward though and, according to Sky Italia, representatives from the Rossoneri will be taking in the Emirates Cup.

They will also see if Arsenal are prepared to move on Campbell, who is rated highly by Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi.

Arsenal have been linked with further additions this summer and Wenger has admitted he has not yet finished his summer business.
